Saadia Siddiqui

Saadia is an assistant solicitor at Bankside Law. She began her legal career with the Criminal Justice Office for Kent Constabulary and subsequently moved into criminal defence, assisting in numerous serious criminal matters including frauds, conspiracies to supply drugs and murders.
Saadia qualified at Bankside Law and now specialises in defending cases of serious fraud, white collar crime and other serious crime including cases involving sexual allegations demanding a careful and sensitive approach. She has played a major role in a case with an international dimension defending a client in a multi-handed conspiracy to defraud shareholders out of millions of pounds and South African Rand.

The case involved travelling to South Africa in search of evidence. Saadia has also acted for private individuals in criminal appeal cases.
Saadia also handles private civil actions against the police. She also has further sector experience in the regulatory and disciplinary field, having assisted in a number of cases involving chiropractic and other regulatory work.
Saadia is vice-chair of the Association of Women Solicitors (AWS) (London Group), and an active member of the London Criminal Courts Solicitors Association (LCCSA), the Young Fraud Lawyers Association (YFLA), the Association of Regulatory and Disciplinary Lawyers (ARDL), Solicitors for Asian Lawyers (SAL), and the Black Lawyers’ Directory (BLD).
