
Osondu joined Bankside Law as a trainee solicitor and has remained with the firm since qualification in 2006. He has both assisted with and had conduct of numerous serious criminal cases, including conduct of a murder case involving a juvenile at the Central Criminal Court, and has extensive experience of representing suspects in police interviews, with particular knowledge of investigations by the SFO, BIS, FSA and HMRC.
Osondu is energetic, resourceful and relishes the challenges of advising clients on matters that are often vital to them personally. Since joining Bankside Law, Osondu has handled a number of very high costs cases including serious fraud matters prosecuted by various agencies, and has significant expertise in serious criminal matters such as sexual assaults, firearms offences and robberies. He has a particular interest in driving offences - especially those involving the use of the laser 20x20 speed gun, and has handled a number of disciplinary cases before the General Chiropractic Council.
Osondu is an Accredited Police Station Advisor and a member of the Young Fraud Lawyers Association (YFLA), the London Criminal Courts Solicitors Association (LCCSA) and the British Nigerian Law Forum.
A keen rugby player, Osondu currently plays for the London Nigerians Rugby Club at the Linford Christie Stadium, having previously played professionally for clubs such as Harlequins and Rosslyn Park Rugby Clubs. He holds an IRB (International Rugby Board) Youth Level 1 Coaching Certificate.
