
Paul began his legal career at Bindman and Partners and then went on to work for other high profile practices before joining Bankside Law where he is now a senior paralegal.
During his career he has been involved in some extremely high profile cases including the murder of a police officer, a case involving the export of components for use in the manufacture of weapons of mass destruction, a money laundering case involving sums of up to £70m, two cases involving teachers charged and later acquitted of indecent assault, a DSS fraud including allegations of counterfeiting and forgery, an internet pornography case, and a Serious Fraud Office (SFO) prosecution involving an allegation of conspiracy to steal from a pension fund.
Since joining Bankside Law, Paul has further developed his skills in criminal and regulatory work. He has defended a wide range of criminal matters, including ISA and carousel frauds, firearms cases and cases involving the supply of drugs, and has assisted in both the prosecution and defence of solicitors in cases before the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal (SDT).
Paul is a member of the Young Fraud Lawyers Association (YFLA) and the Black Lawyers Directory (BLD). In his spare time Paul enjoys playing football and has completed his FA (level 1) coaching badge. He also enjoys travel and film and appeared as an extra in the wedding scene of the film "Love Actually".
