
Saadia qualified as a solicitor in 2002 and now specialises in fraud, regulatory, private crime and private civil actions against the police. She has handled a number of key criminal and fraud matters, including high value matters and a number of cases involving sexual offences. She has received praise from clients for her thorough and professional approach. Following the successful defence of a property fraud case, the client commented: ‘I found Saadia approachable, open and reliable; always very professional and thorough with her work’. She is an active member of the Association of Women Solicitors (AWS). As a member of the National and Executive Committee she is Chair of the Law Reform and Research sub-committee. She has also served as Chair of AWS London regional group. Other memberships: London Criminal Courts Solicitors' Association (LCCSA), the Association of Regulatory and Disciplinary Lawyers (ARDL) and the Young Fraud Lawyers Association (YFLA).
Saadia has been involved in a number of consultation papers for the AWS and LCCSA amongst others. These include: EHRC - Equality and Human Rights Commission, 07.12.08, (AWS); SRA - Equality and Diversity 23.12.08 (AWS) and HO - Review of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984, 28.11.08 (LCCSA).
Saadia is an Associate School Governor and enjoys art, theatre, conservation and travel. She also has a keen interest in women's boxing and yoga.
